Comments Eleison 193 (26-III-2011):
Many people today have an idea God as sentimental, or a very limited idea of \u200b\u200bhis power, it is almost impossible to imagine punishing them, let alone using the material universe to punish or climate. However, there is a strong argument indicating that the very instability of the earth's tectonic plates, causing disasters like those we have seen recently in Japan, was the result and punishment for the sins of men. Here I present the argument (which I never learned anything in school):
Before Adam and Eve sinned, human nature was a glorious creation of God, strong and stable, but not unbreakable. The revolt against God could break it. So when Adam and Eve committed the Original Sin, all its descendants (except Our Lord and Our Lady) inherited a wounded nature, so we can all suffer, we die and only with difficulty control our lower nature. Similarly applies to the physical nature of our planet. Before the Flood in Noah's time, was like a garden of paradise, a glorious creation of God, strong and stable, but not unbreakable. Universal corruption of man (Gen. VI, 11.12) could and would break it. Perhaps
many geologists today have no faith in the Flood as described in the Bible, but if you believe in a prehistoric convulsion powerful surface of the earth as a way to explain, for example, evidence from fossils of marine animals found today in some of the ridges of the earth, as the Rockies in North America. Originally, as speculated, the circumference of the rocky soil remained fairly furthest from the center of the earth by huge underground chambers of water on the rocks which exerted pressure due to gravity. If then the spherical shell of rock began cracking at some point the water would flow to the surface, flooding the open area that was up, and the rock would collapse down to take his place. The immense stress involved could disperse the flood and collapse around the world. (Note that Scripture seems clear that the Flood waters caused not only fell from the sky but also emerged from the Earth: Genesis VII, 11, VIII, 2.)
But it is obvious that if all the land, circumference of rock collapsed inward to form a smaller circumference, would have much less space rock, so not only fisurarÃa to form the tectonic plates colliding, but also would collapse to form, in addition to other features visible on the geology of our planet today, the immense mountain ranges, rising to more marine animals above sea level. Mount Everest is rising a few centimeters each year as the India plate is being pushed beneath the Eurasian plate from China and Tibet. Then
and original sin led to tensions since punitive within human nature and corruption prehistoric mankind created tensions within the crust of the earth where lie the historical earthquakes and tsunamis like the one just witnessed in Japan . "Nature", said Our Lady in La Salette in 1846, "is calling for revenge because man, and trembles with dread of what should happen to the earth stained with crime. Tremble, earth, and you claiming to be servants of Jesus Christ and who, inside, only love themselves, tremble, for God will deliver your enemy because the holy places are in a state of corruption. "Tremble
